This illustration project was inspired by the piano piece ‘Murmuration’ written by my close friend.

I wanted to illustrate the simplicity and beauty of one of the most loved but declining bird species in the UK: the starling.

Starlings (Sturnus vulgaris) are known for their dancing murmurations in the winter and their incredible mimicking abilities.

This piece has become the face of my illustration business and a popular print.
