A promotional poster, commissioned by the youth-led rewilding group Youngwilders for a community event.

The location for the event was Wilder Blean, where a bison reintroduction project aims to restore ecosystem functionality using these incredible ecosystem engineers. The illustration sought to engage the audience with an impactful design.

The illustration aims to depict a bison emerging from the undergrowth, and show the beauty, power and strength of the European bison (Bison bonasus).
