A commission for the charity Ancient Woodlands UK. They are a youth campaign dedicated to protecting ancient woodlands.

These pieces were commissioned to be a carousel or single social media post that helps to educate the public on the folklore surrounding ancient woodland and its associated species.

These posts aim to spark joy and wonder at the stories these habitats have created through time, and use some iconic UK species as the main characters for each post.

I researched the ancient woodland folklore using the book: Woodland Folk Tales of Britain and Ireland by Lisa Schneidau and the charity website Trees for Life.

These pieces were done using Procreate and two versions were sent to the client for them to use.
