This piece was designed to be an engaging social media post about the peacock butterfly (Aglais io), and the Plantlife campaign: No Mow May.

It aims to give a voice to one of our iconic butterfly species in a comedic manner to engage audiences and promote the campaign to leave your lawn in May.

The peacock butterfly depends on different plants throughout its lifecycle (e.g common nettle), as do many of our declining pollinators in the UK.
